SONG PREMIERE: Understanding Meaning and Missions with Hooks & The Huckleberries on New Alt-country Single, “Babylon Is For Lovers”

— GLIDE MAGAZINE

"This classic composition embraces new stylistic movements in the sonic arrangement. It’s as if Explosions of the Sky collaborated with Jason Isbell."

— THE WILD IS CALLING

"Fans of Lucero, Two Cow Garage, and Arliss Nancy — this New Mexico quartet is the band we’ve been waiting for. 'Jemez' finds them pushing themselves even further than before."

— ADOBE & TEARDROPS

“Hooks sings, ‘toured a million miles, never made a dime. It still don’t matter, in that old Econoline.’ And that’s it, that’s why this is so wonderful. Never mind ‘whatever’ it’s all about the love of music for Hooks And The Huckleberries. That’s all that counts.”
